What kind of products could you sell or swap? Could it be anything?

Kim - read answer on the board. You can advertise something if you want -- what is it?

First off, No, I do not have an extra. However, have you tried eBay auction? They have a really good selection of MT books on there. Also one of my favorite links to go book shopping on is www.bestwebbuys.com/books/index.html. It is called Best Book Buys and shows prices at numerous sources at varied prices, as well as new versus used. GrannyT

GrannyT,
Thanks for the book site. What a find! I have already put it to use.

Yes, that is a great book site. Here's a similar one: www.bestbookdeal.com/book/compare/0781744032I compared Stedman's Abbreviations at the 2 sites today: Best Book Deal: 20 sources compared [includes 6 in UK, Canada, and Europe, so really only 14 relevant]: prices ranged from $22 at A1 Books to $43.16 at totalcampus.com. [Price summaries may not be accurate: I clicked on half.com, listed in summary at $28.25; site itself offered 4 copies, from $28.50 to $29.95.] BestWebBuys: 6 sources [Amazon listed both as regular site and marketplace]: Prices from $20 at A1 Books to $42.95 at Amazon. In summary, both of these sites seem worthwhile to bookmark. If I were looking for the lowest-priced copy of a book, I would check both sites, including checking the individual listings since the summary pages may not be accurate, probably a reflection of how often they're updated. I've also bookmarked some of the individual sites like half.com [which is a component of eBay]. I think I've become lazy , generally only checking amazon.com's used book listings when I want to buy a text; I will definitely do more comparision shopping in the future. ;)Thank you, Granny T, for alerting us to this great site.
