Is there a way to import an Instant Text file into DQS or can I just install IT on my computer and run it in the background? I start typing for DQS tonight but don't have my expanders on MedQuist's computer.
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I'm a new IT user. I just installed IT and ran it in the background seems to work fine (but I'm still learning it).
Good luck!!!

IT Pro V runs in the background with DQS like a charm. Make sure you have the latest revisions installed for IT to make it work with DQS perfectly. I am on DQS and use IT. Can't live without it!

Thanks so much. I made a mistake, though. Turns out I don't have IT but have ShortCut for Windows. Yikes! Now what do I do? Can I import from Excel or ShortCut?
Does DQS not come with shortcuts already, other than the headings?

DQS uses Word's AutoCorrect, so as far as I know you can't import expansions and I don't know if ShortCut will work with DQS directly....the AutoCorrect comes loaded with headers only.

Oh wow, that's great to know. Thanks a lot for the reply. I had to ask because in my experience working elsewhere, through VPN/Citrix to server, no expander has ever been quick, so I just wanted to find out.
Thanks again.
