Just about every day at some point in the day, after receiving pretty consecutively dated reports, I get reports dated the previous day, all of the same horrible dictator, all in a row, that run up to where I was before the normal flow was interrupted.
Now, I really don't mind doing him because I have no problem with leaving blanks for a doctor who apparently doesn't care if he gets them (he's not ESL, just mumbles, has the handset positioned somewhere out of voice range, and talks faster than humanly possible). So if I don't get it on the second try, he gets a blank and no time wasted. Also, I can make out where he says to use a macro in 2 places in the report, so my line count doesn't suffer either
What DOES bother me is that how is this happening? I thought it wasn't possible to reject reports. I can see how this could happen occasionally if a report is abandoned, but this is just one doctor for like 10 reports in row over a 24-hour time period. It happens occasionally with other bad dictators as well, but this one in particular is the most obvious.
Can anyone shed some light on this? Does this happen to anyone else?

Just a thought - are the jobs possibly reserved for you? I'm just guessing because I believe this happens to me...if you are a good transcriptionist sometimes they send you the tough jobs that perhaps other MTs can't do as well as you.
I had 21 minutes of an absolutely horrible dictator last week marked "R" for me. Thanks!

I don't think it's "supposed" to happen, but it is certainly possible to skip jobs. I was told they monitor for consistent "abandoners" but I don't know.
